Data Security  M.D. Complete has built in functionality that guarantees that your data will be secure.  Access to your MDC data can only be achieved with a valid username and password that you define.  With each user, you specify the data and functions that the user can access and/or utilize.  For additional security, we recommend that you also set up built in security functions of your Microsoft Windows® operating system, such as User Level logins and password protected screen savers.

Data Backup and Retrieval  M.D. Complete provides an easy one step process for making backup's of your patient and billing data.  You can backup your data on demand at any time.  MDC will prompt you automatically when you exit the program that a backup should be made.  We recommend a rotation process for backing up your data and maintaining an off-site backup disk.

Patient Privacy and Consent  M.D. Complete eases the administrative processes that you will encounter when complying with the Patient Privacy rules.  MDC tracks items such as the date a patient's consent was obtained to release patient health information (PHI) for the purposes of treatment, payment or health care operations (TPO).  In additions, MDC tracks when and if a patient authorizes the use of PHI for purposes other than TPO.  With each patient, MDC will create a separate log that records changes to a patients' health information.
